1. CertiSource (Indonesia)

  • The CertiSource Standard for Verified Legal Timber is a standard for Indonesian wood products, when basic legality just isn't good enough.

  • Consignment-based verification ensures traceability back to a certified forest of origin for every shipment, and every entity (forests, sawmills and traders) adheres to strict legal, social and environmental criteria.

  • The CertiSource Standard goes beyond basic legal requirements and puts forest concessions and sawmills on the road to sustainable forest management.

  • Flexible, pay-as-you go pricing makes certification affordable even at smaller scale.

  • DoubleHelix is accredited to ISO/IEC 17065:2012 by the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ). Accreditation no.: Z4460410SS.

  • Validity may be verified at www.jas-anz.org/register.

At DoubleHelix, our goal is to secure the timber supply chain through the application of scientific methods. The application of DNA testing within the CertiSource system has changed significantly as it has developed over the years. As change continues apace at DoubleHelix, we would like to take this opportunity to correct potential misconceptions that have arisen during the rapid growth and expansion of both DoubleHelix and CertiSource.
